PERLE DU SUD
Quiet address with terrace near the beach serving local specialties.
A few dozen meters from the beach, far from the hustle and bustle of Mamoudzou, a peaceful address for lunch and dinner. Taken over by Didar, formerly of Ironi Be, with a new chef in charge of the kitchen too. La Perle offers local specialties, including breadfruit gratin, mafane brede, octopus and fish in coconut milk. The large terrace overlooks Kani Bay, and is very pleasant. Lodging is available on site; rooms are simple, with washbasin and shower in the same room, but clean. A simple but effective address in this rather deprived region.
