Rita and Miguel warmly welcome you to this late 19th century building, which has been completely renovated into a comfortable and bright space. Azorean Urban Lodge offers a unique concept of accommodation: shared spaces and separate rooms with private bathrooms, all decorated with originality. Colour, modernity and design characterise this residence with its contemporary charm. Not to mention that Miguel knows his island well and that he passes on his knowledge to you with passion. The only downside is the proximity of the airport.

The staff were great, the place was clean and a beautiful building. I'm glad we stayed there and would recommend it to anyone visiting there.

The street is narrow (like all streets here) but we were pleased to find out that there is a lot across the street we could park in for free and without as much worry about the rental car getting hit on the street.
The facilities are amazing. The beds comfy, and the room I was in (Fish Wife Room) had a balcony with direct access to the pool area.
Very close to the airport. No more than 10 minute drive and still easy walk to the old downtown. Only possible downside would be some noise from the airport. But it’s fairly infrequent.
All and all I have to say it exceeded our expectations. Would recommend to anyone.
