Wow! This hotel won their 5 stars. We had an amazing stay in this hotel. A lady is passing twice a day to ask if everything is ok or if we needed anything and offered us many times some chocolate! ???? The breakfast was very complete. They even have smoked salmon. The juice is fresh. The gym could have a bench to help the trainings, but you can still train a little bit. Pool water is a bit cold in my opinion, but very clean! I would suggest this hotel to everyone!

We had a great experience during our one week stay at the Grand Hotel Açores. Our ocean view room was very nice (and clean of course). The service/staff at the hotel set it apart from others we have visited. Everyone was extremely friendly (always greeting us and holding the door) and always made sure that we were enjoying our stay. The hotel is perfectly situated in Ponta Delgada and it is well accommodated. The lobby is beautiful and comfortable. The lobby bar serves great cocktails (often with live music). And the restaurant in the hotel is a must for anyone looking for a quality dining experience. We hope to be back for a stay again in the future.

Ein absolutes Spitzenhotel in Bestlage, welches sich durch ihr hervorragendes Personal und ihre geschmackvolle und moderne Einrichtung definiert. Wie wurden herzlichst von der Crew an der Rezeption und dem charmanten Doorman begrüßt und verabschiedet.

Die Zimmer sind sehr modern eingerichtet und vor allem sehr praktisch, denn Inneneinrichtung lässt nämlich das Zimmer größer erscheinen, als es tatsächlich ist.

Die Speisen zum Frühstück sind reichhaltig und vor allem von guter Qualität. Frisch gepresster Orangensaft ist selbst in 5 Sterne Häusern keine Selbstverständlichkeit mehr. Der Service der freundlichen Mitarbeiter rundet das ganze ab.

Gym und Indoor Pool sind vorhanden und können von den Gästen kostenfrei tagsüber bis in den Abend genutzt werden. Beim Gym hätte ich mir eine 24/7 Nutzung gewünscht, wie es heutzutage häufig in Hotels der Fall ist. Kraftgeräte wären auch gewünscht.

Parken kann man entweder per Valet für 13€/Tag oder selbst in der öffentlichen Parkgarage vor dem Hotel für etwas weniger.

Insgesamt ein hervorragendes Hotel, welches ich definitiv wieder besuchen werde, wenn ich nach Ponta Delgada reise.
