154-room hotel with fantastic views of the ocean and the south of the island.

Located in a quiet area of Ponta Delgada, The Lince stands overlooking the town. With 154 rooms spread over 6 floors, it offers fantastic views of the ocean and the south of the island. On-site amenities include a restaurant, two bars, swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna and gym. Although the hotel may look a little imposing from the outside, the facilities are up to the challenge!

The breakfast buffet was great and the service quite friendly but overall a very disappointing experience for a 4 star with its overall budget hotel feel.

We travel extensively and in our experience all 4 stars provide conditioner and body lotion and at least one courtesy bottle of water in each room - and most provide tea and coffee, slippers and robes - but the water we assumed was courtesy was actually charged at around 4 Euro for 33cl), and the room only provided paper cups, shampoo and soap. In addition some electricity switched off each day during the day so we couldn't use the air-con or tv for part of the day. The mattress was also really uncomfortable with visible human forms in it and although housekeeping seemed good, we found a previous guest's t shirt in our drawer which does not suggest a very thorough clean.

There is no folder in the room with information on mini-bar prices, checkout time etc so we tried to use the QR code provided but had to give up after getting spammed with scam and phishing style adverts for Amazon prizes, TEMU etc which launched windows without permission on our phones. I assume the hotel gets paid for this which is really shameful.

We gave feedback really politely on checkout but the reception staff weren't the least receptive. We definitely won't be back or be recommending the Vince with so many other stunning hotels to choose from in Ponta Delgada.

Após um ano de muito trabalho finalmente as desejadas férias e com o destino Açores o escolhido. Também trabalho em hotelaria dai a minha critica aos colegas deste hotel.
O checkinn (510) 06/01/24 inadmissível a menina que nem posso mencionar o nome pois nao tinha placa de nome(lourade cabelo comprido), foi antipática, nada profissional praticamente nem para a nossa cara olhou. Alias sempre que la estava nem levantava a cabeca para dizer bom dia ou boa tarde .Os quartos tamanho bom mas a limpeza nota 2 pois o facto de ser velho nada impede de estar limpo ate lixo do cliente antigo tinha cabelos na casa de banho etc, eu para nao me chatear limpei o chao com a toalha de rosto e gel de banho ) 5 dias nunca trocaram roupa de cama,esqueceram algumas vezes toalhas de banho limpas.
Restaurante 5* ao Artur sempre atencioso sempre atento ao promenor bom pequeno almoço, bom Buffet (negativo so tenho dia 07/01 eram 07h20 e desci para tomar um cafe pois o quarto não tem chaleira,nem máquina de cafe, o Buffet estava pronto as máquinas ligadas mas nao me deram o cafe pois so abria as 07h30)compreensivel regras sao regras mas podiam ser mais acessíveis e arranjar soluções. Queríamos fazer massagem a terapeuta nao estava no hotel nao havia soluções so dia 10,em que fomos fazer 70€ 50 min onde nem relaxar podemos pois a porta da piscina esta sempre a bater.
Roupões no quarto nao ha,so a pedido e paga 4€ cada e se quizer trocar paga novamente!!
Hotel 4* com SPA deveria ter Roupões, chinelos.
A piscina obriga a usar touca
de tecido preco 2€ mas nem todos usavam nem compravam.
Agua da piscina nao era muito quente,a porta de entrada da piscina nao tinha antiderrapante e estava sempre molhado.
Agua para beber no quarto so a pagar,loção corpo no quarto nao existe.
Enfim foram umas ferias maravilhosas, a crítica acima indicada e so para poderem proporcionar futuramente momentos melhores que esta minha experiência pois 18 anos de profissão sempre tentei satisfazer o cliente e arranjei soluções e opções para todos os pedidos.
