Between 700 and 1,000 tonnes of pineapples are produced in São Miguel every year. To understand the cultivation of this exotic fruit, which came from South America in 1832, a visit to this plantation open to the public is a must! QR codes in several languages enable you to discover the history and stages of production. At the end of the tour, there's a liqueur tasting. You can also take away pineapple-based products and try other coffee specialties.

Visite plantation ananas
