CASA DO ARCANO MUSEUM
A museum in the house where Sister Marguerite de l'Apocalypse was born, housing her mystical and unusual work.
Inaugurated in 2009, this museum was set up in the birthplace of Sister Marguerite de l'Apocalypse (1779-1858) and houses the Arcano, the mystical and unusual work to which the sister devoted her entire life. Considered a regional treasure, the Arcano is a three-level showcase of figurines (santons made of rice flour and gum arabic) ranging in size from 1 to 20 cm, depicting biblical scenes. Certain areas of the house have been preserved, such as the ceilings and the kitchen, where you can see a traditional oven.
