One of the best campsites on Furnas Island, inaugurated in June 2002.
The campsite, opened in June 2002, is located in the direction of the thermal baths and calderas from the centre, behind the Terra Nostra botanical garden. Very well located. The toilets are clean and the water is hot! The bar do Parque, which is not a snack bar, is lively in season. One of the best campsites on the island according to the locals! Please note: cars are not allowed in the campsite and they are rather strict about the rules regarding silence!

Recomendo a 200% quer a comida como o atendimento e simpatia, tudo excelente! Ligamos de manhã a reservar e experimentamos o famoso cozido das furnas ao almoço (este não sabe a enxofre!) e apesar de não ser grande apreciadora este cozido sim é MARAVILHOSO!!! Acabámos por voltar à noite comer lulas que estavam uma delícia! Os licores açoreanos ajudam a digerir porque as doses são muiiiito bem servidas e ainda bem!!! Voltaremos um dia obrigada ????

You can eat the food cooked in the heat of the "Furnas" here. I had the fish though...... it was amazing!!!

El cocido estaba riquísimo y la carne exquisita. Pedimos una sopa del día de primero que estaba de muy buen también. Recomendable pedir un cocido para dos incluso para tres si combinas con el arroz y pedís la sopa y postre. El personal era cordial y respetuoso. La piña de postre fue otra deliciosa. La pena que no pudimos almorzar fuera al sol en el exterior ya que el día acompañaba , pero de todas formas, dentro teníamos una ventana con bonitas vistas, gracias.
