One of the best campsites on Furnas Island, inaugurated in June 2002.
The campsite, opened in June 2002, is located in the direction of the thermal baths and calderas from the centre, behind the Terra Nostra botanical garden. Very well located. The toilets are clean and the water is hot! The bar do Parque, which is not a snack bar, is lively in season. One of the best campsites on the island according to the locals! Please note: cars are not allowed in the campsite and they are rather strict about the rules regarding silence!

Pressa em servir bebida, 45m de espera pelo prato a não voltar. Porque dão prioridade às reservas e aos cozidos.

Aufgrund von Empfehlungen sind wir hierher gekommen. Eine Reservierung ist zwingend erforderlich. War jedoch anders als erwartet. Als wir einen Tisch ergattert hatten, wurden wir erstmal vom Personal knapp 20 min. links liegen gelassen um dann von der unfreundlich Servicekraft mitgeteilt zu bekommen, das das der falsche Tisch ist. Dann nochmal eine Odyssee, bis die Speisekarte kam. Es war einiges los, aber bei 5 Leuten im Service und das alle anderen Tische schon ihr essen hatten unbegreiflich... Personal war dann lieber erstmal vor der Tür eine rauchen. Letztendlich war das Essen gut aber hier würden wir nicht mehr hergehen. Es gibt bessere Alternativen, wenn man ein wenig bei Google Maps schaut, die es mehr verdient haben, das man dort sein Geld ausgibt!

Хорошая португальский кухня. Все было вкусно. Одного блюда достаточно чтобы наесться, порции очень большие. Шикарное разливное пиво местного производства. И все, вроде бы хорошо. Но сервис хромает. Сперва на нас даже не обращали внимания минут пять. Потом пришлось в буквальном смысле вылавливать официанта. Конечно, ресторан был полный, так как это было обеденное время, но встретить гостей можно было нормально. И минусом еще был тот момент, что моя подруга просила стейк телятины медиум, а он с одно стороны был горелым. В остальном все хорошо. Напитки принесли сразу, а блюда мы ждали минут 15, но это приемлемо. Так что советую, особенно если хотите попробовать португальскую кухню.

Perfect if you are looking to taste this incredibly flavourful meal (and yes, agreed that it doesnt really look sexy but come on that’s irrelevant here) in a humble local place at a fair price. ADVICE: Unless you are starving order one portion for 2 people - that should do and save you some space for dessert :)
