Hotel cuidado, bonitas vistas desde la habitación de Furnas.

A hotel with the basic needs. The rooms are large, but a bit outdated. The breakfast is simple and fresh, but e.g. no cappuccino.

The room by the pool is absolutely not recommended! Bad for your health. The wallpaper is peeling from the walls due to moisture and the room smells strongly of mold. It is dirty under the bed and the shower has a mat on the drain so the water does not drain properly and the shower almost overflows. Besides, there was a shower door missing, so bathroom and toilet got wet as well. We asked the owner if we could move to another room, but she said it was full. By the way, she showed absolutely no understanding, became defensive and blamed the problem on us because she said she never received complaints about moisture or mold. Afterwards, you read that that is not entirely the truth. Then she says: turn on the air conditioning, it will remove the moisture from the room... We had booked three nights but checked out the next day. The owner doesn't care, she avoids all confrontation and is therefore not customer friendly at all. Customer friendliness and service (being there for your customer) are points that certainly deserve some attention from this owner. Maybe the balcony rooms are better, but we certainly do not recommend this hotel with its service.

Отличный отель , просторные номера , шикарный вид с балкона ! В номере мини холодильник, чайник , оставили воду и чай с сахаром, поднос с чашками и ложками ! Есть бассейн и террасы с красивым видом , завтраки за 10 евро .

Podrían grabar allí la siguiente película del Resplandor perfectamente. Servicio escaso. Está reformado y se puede dormir, pero sigue estando muy viejo. Eso sí, vistas al valle espectaculares.

buen hotel, recomendable. La habitación es grande, con camas súper cómodas, con terraza y vistas increibles. También tiene dos piscinas, jacuzzi y parking privado. El desayuno un poco escaso pero suficiente.

Personal poco profesional, limpieza deficiente, instalaciones precarias (no funcionaba la cisterna del wc, entre otras cosas), el olor en todo el hotel es desagradable. Es caro para lo que te encuentras. Lo único positivo es la ubicación.

We had forgotten to book a place to stay in and had to find a quick solution for Furnas, probably the most touristy city in São Miguel, so Vista do Vale was initially a second improvised choice.
We arrived earlier than the usual check in but it wasn't a problem at all. The manager took the time to find a clean room that was way better than we expected, we actually were surprised as we had read some very harsh comments that we totally disagreed with.
The room was HUGE and very clean, with awe-inspiring views upon the valley.
I cannot comment on the 10€ pp breakfast as we chose to have our own food on the room's balcony.
There was a kettle and local tea provided, and there even was a fridge.
It is at a walking distance from Furnas with the advantage of having a free car park just in front of the hotel?
You also can use the pool until 20h which is refreshing option after any of the city's thermal pools.
I totally recommend this place to any person who would like to visit Furnas and the surroundings.

Depending on the room you have the hotel might be okay, the one I stayed in was far from that. The 'apartment' by the pool on the first floor is filthy at best. The smell of mold is dominant and is complimented by a kitchen which literally falls apart. Furthermore, there's hair of previous guests in the bathroom and the water in the shower is up to the ankles after a minute or 2. There is no sign that the bathroom was cleaned before my arrival. When confronted with the issues the owner denied that any of these were true and that she did not see any problem. The conversation with her on these points ended with her saying we were just looking for problems and then she walked away. Would never recommend anyone to stay here ever. Please stay away from this hotel. Breakfast is fine.

部屋からの見晴らしがとても良く、ベランダでもご飯を食べたりのんびり過ごすことができました。スタッフの方もとても親切で、部屋で前の晩の残りを食べようとしたら食事を温めてくれただけでなく、お皿やカトラリーまで貸し出してくれました。心配りが温かく嬉しかったです。部屋にはフルナスのミネラルウォーターがおいてあり、お茶もコーヒーもありました。また、有名な温泉地へもレストランへも徒歩圏内ですので、不便はありませんでした。朝食もアゾレスの乳製品やフルーツを楽しめました。朝食会場からの眺めもいいので、お天気が良ければテラスで朝食をいただけます。夜は町の光が少なく山に囲まれているため、星がとってもきれいでした！

A dona Beatriz muito atenciosa e prestável.
Hotel muito bem situado, com uma vista fantástica e a poucos minutos de restaurantes, Dona Beija, Parque Terra Nostra e outros locais das furnas. Pequeno almoço excelente! Recomendo vivamente.

This hotel is situated perfectly in Furnass, with an amazing view over the village below and of the mountains. Hotel staff are few in number but extremely hard-working and helpful. The food and drink is great and reasonably priced ????

Ok room, food, etc... as long as you don't have any problem with your stay. Front desk is staffed only intermittently and generally unwilling to take action to fix (e.g. Toilet leaking on floor) . I was interrogated by manager in the hallway about where i planned to go with an extra hand towel I'd just asked the maid for. Really??

Petit hôtel situé à l'écart du centre ville, tout en étant relativement prêt. Chambre très spacieuse et propre. Balcon agréable avec vue sur la vallée. Personnel avenant et sympathique. Piscine, bien que fraîche, très appréciée après nos randonnées. Nous étions en B&B. Petit déjeuner varié et copieux. Rien à redire tout était parfait. Vivement recommandé.

Perfect reception (in French please what is well when Portuguese is not caused) by a charming lady. Excellent information on the possible restaurants and visits to the crater
pas de Pb parking, even was with special free towels to swim in the " mare sulfureuse" of Furnas. SUPER
only one point " gris" there were restoration in period when I was.
