Behind a magnificent almagra-red gate, the impressive quinta of João Falcão de Sousa, great-great-grandfather of the current owner. The various buildings of what was once one of the island's largest agricultural estates have been refurbished into modern, comfortable one- and two-bedroom accommodation, with wood and smooth concrete predominating. Excellent quality bedding, fully equipped kitchen. Outside, there's a barbecue area and the old gardens, overlooking the valley, of this property full of charm and history.

Sandra is very nice!
The walls are pretty thin so you probably could hear the family with three kids at 5 in the morning. And the drain has a very funny smell.
But unwound definitely go there again!
