ÉGLISE COLLÉGIALE
Church built in the century, with a superb interior featuring Flemish tables.
In front of the famous (and beautiful) municipal garden, the church was originally called Santo Ignacio de Loyola. It was built in the middle of the 17th century and is better known as the collegiate church, since it belonged to the former Jesuit college of the Companions of Jesus. The exterior is rather austere, but the interior is superb with Flemish tables from the 16th century, altars decorated with gilded wood carvings and beautiful azulejos from the 17th century.
