PAÇOS DO CONCELHO
Majestic building near the magnificent Jesuit College church.
It's actually City Hall. Close to the magnificent Jesuit College church, this majestic 19th century building was built on the site of the two previous town halls, the last of which was built in the 17th century. The living rooms (paintings and precious furniture) are in keeping with the building. It shows, religiously protected, the first blue and white flag of the constitutional regime, and a portrait of Queen D. Maria II. If you have the opportunity to visit the site, take it, you will not be disappointed.
