At the entrance to the village, you can visit a picturesque house restored by Dr. Marcelino Moules: the Casa Eco-Museu. This 16th-century residential complex is divided into three parts: the dwelling itself, the hand mill(atafona, pulled by man or horse) and the pailler(palheiro, now a kitchen and bar). The dwelling house is representative of traditional dwellings, with a kitchen and bread oven, for example. It boasts fine period furniture. Upstairs, a mezzanine used as a sleeping area.
