Interpretation center to answer questions about the geological origin of the fajas.
It's one of two environmental centers within the São Jorge Natural Park. Built on the ruins of an old renovated building, this interpretation center will answer questions about the geological origin of the fajãs (and in particular that of Santo Cristo), as well as the ancestral way of life of the inhabitants who once lived there. The biological aspect is also explored; in short, a complete space that's well worth a visit.
