Located in the south of the city in a very popular district, it is about 45 minutes/1 hour from the hotel districts of Miraflores and Barranco. The airport has its share of tax-free stores, as well as an expensive currency exchange service, restaurants, a left-luggage office and a tourist office (I Peru) open 24 hours a day. Get there by cab or shuttle. Announced for February 2025, a new international airport will be built next to the first one, providing even more connections.

Situé à Calléo , la durée du trajet pour le centre ville peut-être importante.
L'aéroport est agréable et son organisation est semblable aux autres.
les contrôles ne prennent pas trop de temps.

Les portes d'embarquement ont changé plusieurs fois pour vol intérieur . Sécurité débile et bornée sur les vols internationaux .sinon l'aéroport est propre et accueillant ( restos, massages, boutiques...)
