The Casa del Oidor, one of the oldest buildings in Lima. It is the only building dating from the 16th century still standing on the Plaza Mayor. The colonial magistrates or " oidores " were in charge here of listening to the requests of the people and of ruling. And, from the green balcony, rather simple compared to other constructions, the visitors and the veiled women(las tapadas) had a panoramic sight on the Plaza Mayor and its festivities Cultural heritage of the nation, the site is appreciated from outside. Its last restoration dates from 2005.
