This dilapidated casona is highly representative of a totally Baroque colonial style, with its chromatic explosion ofazulejos, Andalusian balconies, carved wooden mirrors gilded with gold leaf... The property itself is closed to the public. The Barbieri group, which was responsible for its maintenance, left during the pandemic, and the printers who used it were evicted. Like other buildings in the center, this elegant residence, once a palace, is waiting for subsidies to restore it to its former glory before it's too late.
