PALACIO DE OSAMBELA
Home to the Peruvian Academy of Languages, the Osambela House has a beautiful patio, no less than 40 rooms, five superb Louis XVI style carved wooden balconies which offer a magnificent view of the city, sometimes as far as the port, and three simpler balconies. Its architectural style is a fusion of the different eras that have succeeded one another, but the French-influenced rococo decoration is especially appreciated. The whole is surmounted by a dome with an Arabian air. A small jewel painted in blue that catches the eye, it can only be visited rarely.
