A useful summary of the history of Peru: handicrafts from the pre-Inca era (ceramics, textiles, jewelry), different artistic trends from the conquest to the end of the 20th century. Important collections of paintings from the Virreynato and furniture from the Republican period. The entire gallery that houses the collection has been recently renovated. The most important temporary exhibitions in the capital are held here. The building has a nice size. Café-restaurant.

Important and beautiful very eclectic museum of Art schools stretching from the pre-colombian period to the present day and which requires several hours to appreciate the richness. A large historic table " Funeral Atahualpa".
