Pyramidal construction, symbol of a ceremonial center of Lima culture. Located in the quiet San Isidro district, this imposing adobe (dried clay brick) pyramid has a structure similar to the Aztec pyramids of Mexico. A small museum can be found at the foot of the pyramid. Climb the central ramp to reach a pre-Inca platform housing mummies. A striking contrast to the surrounding modern buildings. Less well known and less extensive than its neighbor Pucllana, it is the perfect complement to a stroll through the Parque del Olivar.
