In the heart of the desert surrounding Nazca, the site is gradually being developed. As work progresses, a complex of several square adobe pyramids, similar to those found in pre-Columbian cultures, has been uncovered over an area of 24 km2. The well-preserved site completes the mystical and magical dimension of the destination. Along the way, tours also stop off at the small Ocongalla aqueduct and its thousand-year-old huarango tree, and at tuna cactus plantations. This complete tour is a good alternative.
