Located on the Plaza de Armas of Moquegua, this small museum built in 1994 is very well arranged. It exhibits precious pieces of the local pre-Incan cultures (chiribaya, tumilaca, estuquina), many potteries all splendid. There are also pieces from the Wari and Tiwanaku empires: textiles, small wooden boxes and pipettes for taking hallucinogens, keros engraved in honor of Wiracocha... It also houses a library and an auditorium. A charming little museum very interesting and certainly worth a visit.
