Although it suffered a lot from the 1960 earthquake, this church, completed in 1697, preserves its past beauty with a sumptuous lateral door. This church dates back to the beginning of the colonial era, built by the Dominicans. A first earthquake damaged it in 1582, but it was rebuilt. It is thought that the second door was decorated with religious and pagan motifs, while the first one, which is still standing today, is in neoclassical style and opens onto a small square. A beautiful tower with a polygonal base accompanies it.
