It is one of the seven bridges of Arequipa that spans the Chile River. The Puente de Fierro (Iron Bridge), is another work of Gustave Eiffel. Also called Puente Bolivar, it is 484 m long and is located 37 m above the river. Initially used by the rails of the Ferrocaril del Sur company, it was later used as a road bridge, before becoming entirely pedestrian. From here, you can enjoy a view of the whole city and in the background, the volcanoes.
