The casa Museo Vargas Llosa is today a high-tech museum for the most recognized writer in Peruvian literary history and winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature. Renovated in 2014, there are now 15 audiovisual rooms that take us on a journey in Vargas Llosa's footsteps, with holograms and audio captures. Plus: a library containing over 24,000 of the author's works. Despite his open support for far-right candidates in Chile and Brazil, the writer remains a respected figure in his own country. A must-see, if you have the time.
