Let's face it, Chivay is not the place to appreciate the subtleties of Peruvian cuisine. While the village offers many classic buffets, Maray at least has the merit of displaying a different, well-prepared menu. Fresh soups, stone-grilled meats or trout and pizzas are served. The small room upstairs is pleasantly decorated with climbing plants and traditional terracotta pots. It's a great place to relax in the evenings and enjoy a warm meal in a friendly atmosphere.
