La Casa del Corregidor is a period casona that catches the eye of tourists a little chilled by the city's gray. The place is charming. Two brightly-colored patios, with benches and plants for a little break. You'd almost forget you were in Puno. In addition to the café at the far end of the courtyard, the first entrance on the left is Catu's, which offers specialty coffee and fair-trade products of a quality and creativity truly superior to the city's other tourist stores. The best address in town and well worth a visit!
