It's 5 km from the center. Take a cab to the city center (average fare S/ 20). Daily flights to Lima (1h30), Puerto Maldonado (45 min), Arequipa (1 hour), Juliaca (45 min) and La Paz (Bolivia). Cusco airport is small, set in the mountains, and delays are frequent, particularly due to weather conditions. Latam Airlines (latamairlines.com/pe/es) is the safest airline, while Sky Airline (skyairline.com/peru) is a good alternative.
