The luxurious Belmond company, owner of the Monasterio, has opened this new palace in Cuzco. The hotel's fifty or so suites are nestled in a former 16th-century Carmelite convent. The treasures unearthed by the excavations are on display in the hotel. The suites are all equipped with oxygen, making them even more elegant. The city views embrace the city from the balcony or terrace. All rooms are suites, as they are large with a sitting area. When you go upmarket, you find bathtubs, a dressing room. In short, it is even more luxurious.
