For the past 9 years, Argentine-born Emanuel Rocha has been in love with the peaks of Cusco and has made it his second heartland, which he knows perfectly well. Of course, he offers the great classics, but we recommend him more as a well-supervised way off the beaten track to Choquequirao, Lares or Chacicata (Gateway to the Sun in the heights of the Ollantaytambo Valley), or to the fully-equipped summits of Campa (5587 m), Yayamari (6049 m) and Chumpe (6106 m) on an itinerant basis. Good physical condition required!
