Built in 1572, it was part of the complex, now disappeared, called Hospital del Espíritu Santo. The nave, of an edifying sobriety, is composed of a dome, Doric columns and, as everywhere else, gilded altarpieces, an altar of embossed silver, and some paintings of the city school. The complex was built in its present form in 1688 by an Indian architect, Juan Tomas Tuyro Túpac, thanks to donations from the family of the bishop of Cusco, Manuel de Mollinedo. It still bears the scars of the 1950 earthquake.
