Formerly a colonial property of the colony's aristocratic families, this Moorish-style palace covers the Inca Roca palace, whose stone foundations it preserves. The portal, the double patio with azulejos and churrigueresque altarpiece testify to the wealth of those who built it. The museum has 172 paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries, many of them from Europe. The King of Spain was received in the incredible Salón Dorado of the palace. An interesting visit.
