San Blas has been revitalized in recent years, and this little alleyway has become the place to be for a photo that sums up the character of this Andean town: staircases as far as the eye can see, little cafés on the sides, and the detail that makes all the difference: flowerpots hanging from the walls (and with the names of the donors) give this alleyway a crazy, colorful charm. It's a real crowd-puller, whether you're going up or down. You'll also find a framer's workshop, working with a hand impassive to the flow of travelers.
