The Sumaq Machu Picchu Hotel is a reference in all Peru. It is located on the banks of the Vilcanota River. The train station is only a ten minute walk away, but the hotel still provides a shuttle service. The cuisine is creative and refined and the service is impeccable. The hotel has a family-friendly policy with cooking classes, a storyteller, a treasure hunt at Machu Picchu (for 6-11 year olds) and a mascot that represents a Peruvian dog. Specials on the2nd night. A great address!
