It is very beautiful, at the foot of the high, rugged peaks, despite the dilapidated state of the casonas that surround it. The 16th-century casona, with its squat arcades, which used to house the old town hall, stands out, as does the one next to it with the long wooden balcony. As always, it is the meeting point of the inhabitants around a central fountain built entirely of granite in 1862. It's good to watch the time go by under the indigo blue sky while the neighbours read the newspaper or have their shoes shined, with the Cathedral in the background.
