This museum belongs to the Centro Cultural Simón Bolívar. This visit complements the visit to the Wari archaeological site on the edge of the city. Here are exhibited pieces of this culture that dominated the region as well as earlier, some of which are more than 4,000 years old. They allow us to better understand who these valiant warriors were, precursors of the Inca Empire. The museum also has other spaces about the colonial and republican history of Ayacucho and popular art.
