The airport, located halfway between Huaraz and Carhuaz in the heart of the valley at the foot of the Cordillera Blanca, resumed service in June 2024 and promises to gradually put the destination back at the heart of travelers' itineraries. Latam (www.latamairlines.com) is currently the only airline with a round-trip service to Huaraz. Arrange a cab from your accommodation or book a shuttle (www.suizaperuana.com, +51 943 955 965).
