IGLESIA DE LA SOLEDAD
Built after the 1970 earthquake, this church in the La Soledad district was erected in homage to the "Lord of Solitude", patron saint of the city of Huaraz, and houses a 16th-century representation of him. Situated in a picturesque little square, its fairly modern exterior architecture is a real eye-catcher. Inside, there are three naves and large murals. From the square, you can enjoy views over the rest of the town and the surrounding mountains. It's a very pleasant stroll that locals enjoy with their families.
