One of the few places where giant cacti grow in quantity (there are 5,000 species!). A walk that changes from the high peaks and surprises with its vegetation. To get there take a colectivo from Caraz, get off at Pueblo Libre, then climb the Cordillera Negra (5 hours). On Mondays and Fridays only, microphones go to Pamparomas; from there, after a short 30-minute walk, you arrive in the middle of these amazing natural candelabras. To leave, you will have to go down to Pueblo Libre (3 hours) and take a suit.
