Museum La Fabrique in Sainte-Sigolène, preserving the old weaving looms constituting the most original materials.
The museum La Fabrique was born in 1990 from the will of the Historical Society of Sainte-Sigolène to save what could still be saved, after the crisis of home weaving in the 1980s. The old looms are undoubtedly the most original materials preserved in this museum. They are the link between yesterday's weaving and today's plastics. The museum is run by a team of passionate former weavers and plastics manufacturers who bring their looms and machines to life.
