WAYKU BARRIO
This is the traditional visit proposed in Lamas: the wayku or low quarter still inhabited by the descendants of the natives. We advise you to go there alone. The square is surrounded by rather interesting handicraft shops. A little higher up, you will find the one that brings together the whole community: the Waska waska warmi wasi center. On the left, a shop is more animated: it is the one where Daniel and Juben play and the children of the village gather to dance. More animated on Sundays, day when the inhabitants of the communities on the heights come.
