The Casa Urquiaga or Casa Calonge, of a sparkling blue (yellow forged grills), is a real little jewel: one can still admire the office of Simon Bolivar, who lived here two years after having declared the Independence of Peru in 1824. It is also where the first viceroy of Peru lived in 1604. Then, the Casa Urquiaga housed the first bank of Trujillo. You can visit it for free, just by showing your passport.
