The last discovery of the Chimú culture in the surroundings of Trujillo is a pyramid of two levels decorated with geometric and zoomorphic motifs. It extends on more than 2 600 m². This Huaca, would have been part of the constructions related to the Chimú culture, and its elaboration would be in direct link with the site of Chan Chan. Research also shows that this huaca could have been the palace of a lord of this pre-Inca culture.
Interesting contrast with the buildings that border it. If you have to choose, this visit is the least essential.
