The airport is located south of the city of Iquitos. It is the only rapid access point to this largely navigable region. Several daily flights to and from Lima (1 hour 50 min. flight time) with Latam (www.latamairlines.com), Star Peru (www.starperu.com) or Sky (www.skyairline.com) have been on the market for several years now, offering Lima-Iquitos-Lima flights. Star Peru also offers direct flights to Tarapoto (1 hour's flight) and Pucallpa (also 1 hour's flight).
