In a beautiful national heritage building, behind anazulejo façade, lies the city's newest little gem at an affordable price. The rooms are all different, modern and comfortable, with here and there a detail that recalls the splendor of Iquitos in the days of the rubber tappers. The bathrooms are private, and the hot water is solar-powered. We also like the lovely view of the Malecon and the Itaya River in the distance from the French windows upstairs. We're on the edge of the popular Belen district.
