Bus agencies are located on Av. Tambopata (S/ 2 from the center). Puno and Cusco are served by an asphalt road (bring warm clothes, as thermal shock is guaranteed at night!). Beware: the road is difficult and crosses a mining zone reputed to be dangerous. Some companies no longer operate there.
Puno : 15-hour journey.
Cusco: 10 hours. Civa offers a comfortable overnight bus service.
Brazil : departures at noon from Tuesday to Sunday for Rio Branco (Brazil Moviltour), 10 hours. To Inapi: 4 hours by car or 10 hours by boat.
