A simple, colorfully painted house that serves as a base camp for other tours with the local team of Carlos (call him Charlie) and Karen. What they offer are mainly exploratory or day tours: mountain biking along the Corredor Tambopata, kayaks on the river, suspension bridges in the jungle (the Inkaterra route) and longer stays. The team is welcoming, as is the house, which lives and vibrates with visitors. Excursions are well thought-out and organized. For those who don't have the budget for lodges, take a look.
