Brewery kitchen in a restaurant with terrace in Brussels offering pieces of beef from noble breeds.

Le Roy d'Espagne, actually called Le Café de la Grand'place, pays tribute to the Spanish occupation of Belgium. Its terrace offers one of the most sought-after views in the world. Formerly the home of the bakers' guild, its façade features a bust of Charles II (King of Spain), to whom the café owes its name. The gallery on the^1st floor is a reminder that the house was once a hardware store. Here, you can dine on honest brasserie cuisine, as well as beef steaks, burgers, omelettes, vegan dishes... A French fry shop has opened on the side of the building.

Très bien situé sur la grand place mais on sent que la situation du restaurant justifie en partie les prix à la carte.
Service peu agréable mais bon repas.

Maison emblématique de Bruxelles. Une fois rentré à l'intérieure, on a vraiment l'impression de remonter le temps. Le cadre y est véritablement magnifique. Si vous avez la chance d'avoir une table en fenêtre, vous aurez une vue splendide sur la Grand Place et l'Hôtel de ville.

I went 2 times to make beer tastings. The setting is really nice, the waiters are nice and try to place you close to a window to have a view of the square. The value for money of their tasting is very good, the quantities are generous.
