BRASSERIE PLOEGMANS
Carbonnades, American minute, fries, ham and mustard in a restaurant in Brussels. Very good service and traditional setting
The Ploegmans was an old and very popular Marolian estaminet transformed a few years ago into a microbrewery. But the spirit remains because the decoration and in particular the wooden panelling with its benches (rather uncomfortable for long legs) surmounted by mirrors are original. The tables, small and covered with tablecloths, are mostly occupied by regulars as well as by a few tourists who have come to try the Faro style carbonnades or the American minute. Friendly service and "perfect" mention for the fries. Some home-made desserts to mention.
