LOTUS VERT
Vietnamese and Thai restaurant in Brussels offering low prices and flexible hours (bobun, wan tan soup, nems and curry)
It's hard to find a good, inexpensive address for lunch or dinner in the hypercentre, which is overrun by chains, expensive brasseries and tourist traps. The discreet Lotus Vert is a small restaurant with flexible opening hours run by a friendly Vietnamese family (the local TV in the background is proof of this), serving delicious Vietnamese and Thai cuisine at low prices. The bobun, a typical Vietnamese dish, was particularly tidy, hearty and delicious. Just like the good old chicken noodles or the Thai-style stir-fried rice.
